You’ll manage and complete both planning and design projects. Your clients will enjoy working with you and respect your well-organized, expert approach. You run a tight ship, but you also are flexible. Team members will rave about you, because you’ll help them stretch, grow and develop. Previous experience in Traffic Engineering will fuel your success. Ideally, you already have public agency and private industry experience.

Here is what you will do:

Manage projects and deadlines
Plan, execute and control scope of services
Develop and maintain good relationships internally and externally
Write clear and effective technical reports
Design traffic engineering plans
Regularly meet with clients
Ensure projects meet quality standards
Participate in new business development efforts
Guide, inspire, and mentor the SWTE team

Requirements

Here is what we would like you to bring to the table;

8+ years experience in a project management role
Broad traffic engineering experience in traffic analysis, planning, and design
Communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient AutoCAD and Microstation skills
Knowledge and proficiency with Traffic Engineering software including
HCS and Synchro (bonus points for TransCAD expertise)
Budget and deadline management capabilities
Structured, organized approach
Arizona PE Registration
Great attitude
Teamwork Focus
Unpretentious Confidence
Ability to quickly change gears
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
